Have been on this website for around a year now and used and appied this info to sons hitting with good results. But just recently it has all of a sudden clicked for him. To get him to really swing in a circular hand path with his bat he has been rocking his bat or waggling his bat back and forth by lifting his elbow up and down before his starts his load and then while starting his swing he is loading his back elbow like he is stretching his back shoulder like you would if you pulled your back elbow and and were stretching your shoulder by pulling up and back then elbow down to your side and around. This is helping to assist his top hand pulling back toward the catcher and around. Also once he get into the launch position he is pulling back with his front elbow and shoulder back toward the catcher. This season in 3 games he is batting 1000 and has had like 4 doulbles and a triple in 10 at bats which is unheard of. Coach said he might get moved up to varsity to start in the next month as a freshman. Thanks to this site and his hard work everything has come together for him. Thanks alot for all of everyones input and especially Jack Mankin for creating this site with excellent hitting information. Thanks!
