external rotation

Does the back elbow drop (abduct) then externally rotate? Is the dropping the tilting Epstein refers to. Where does the top hand torque come in -- do you actually pull backwards to the catcher with the top hand as Jack does with the 7 iron? If so then the top hand would actually pull back and get behind the elbow or even get straight up and down (the elbow being even with the hand. On video it seems the the top hand actully leads the elbow and the angle is about 45 degrees. Only after the elbow drops does it seem that it rotates. Does the angle on the forearm to the bicep matter? What is it suppossed to do? Exactly how do you externally rotate? Is it top hand torque - the top hand pull back to the catcher? Do the hips rotate before or after this rotation? I watching a lot of MLB hitters, they PUSH or extend the back elbow after it drops - does the push give you a wider hitting zone? Why do they push - more power pushing with the top hand or pulling with the bottom? Does anybody know of a MLB hitter who does not push with the top hand or put another way, one who pulls more with the bottom hand? Does pitch location matter whether you push or pull?
