Re: Re: Re: Clips - hip & shoulder rotation

See what you get from him.....and them.

No substance.

He doesn't understand how the hands can turn the barrel and not move independently. Therefore the hands wouldn't show any significant acceleration....even though they are turning the barrel creating early batspeed.

All he can say is "the hips lead the hands"......no duh.

Then he reaches his stop. His limit. The height of his elevator.

He doesn't understand that pronation/supination of the forearms creates connection.....instantanteously.

He doesn't understand that to connect too early bogs down the system.

He doesn't understand how the lead arm pronation and the resulting "jut" of the lead elbow "keeps the hands from being pulled out of the zone by the lead shoulder".

See the jut here...

He can't see how the swing plane is "not in the shoulder turn plane"...except on high pitches. The swing plane is not "around the body"....it's "in front of the body".

No matter how many times he's been shown.

The high level mlb pattern requires the barrel's axis of rotation be the hands. And shoulder rotation degrades that.

He can't understand how the fast moving muscles (hands/forearms) can be used to create early batspeed. He can't understand how the slow moving muscles (lower body) must get a running start.....even though they are the "big" muscles and the most powerful. They are SLOW. They must open early.

And he's on record....along with his cronies....and they are wrong....and they know they are wrong.....but can't bring themselves to mea culpa.

No integrity.

They just continue to teach things that don't lead to a high level swing.

15 minutes with him.....or any of you....in person and you'd cry uncle.

The first line of the clips at the link below is doing it "their" way. The rest are doing it the correct way.....turning the barrel in the hands. Notice the early batspeed behind the head....which allows deep contact.....and therefore oppo power.

The results have been tremendous since we discovered the high level pattern and made the change.

They can be for you too.

You decide.
