It would seem to me from your explanation of speed/degree/time that these gauges you attach to the bat to measure speed might not be giving a reading that means much. Since they are based on centrifigal force at what part of the swing do you think they are measuring the most force and is this where you want to measure. Maybe a batter that records 55mph vs. another with 52mph might not really produce the most power or pop. What do you think?
