rql,

my apologies. how careless of me. the minute i posted, i was thinking - warning, disclaimer, etc. sorry!
i should have retracted.

i too did this when i was young (boy scouts) and i discovered that it helped me to find the right co-ordinating physicality to also ring the bell at the carnival. never did it with the intent to improve my baseball swing. a drill i used with young players to get them to hit to opposite field was, when in the batting cage - told them to make their body do whatever it takes to hit the ball into the side of the cage. trying to get them to see what the physical consequences/results were of their experimental physical trials.

how stupid to recommend placing an axe in the hands of an eleven yr. old girl. please forgive me.
