Re: Re: Linear BLAST system hitting

Ok everyone listen closely. An inside out swing mean to most people bring the hands in and get barrel. That does not produce power. The only way you can produce power is if you generate rotational mechanics that generate alot of bat speed. Carew had some rotation but was for the most part a linear hitter that sprayed the ball. Gwynn had more bat speed than carew but still was a little more hands y than let say a brett. Now Ted Williams was extremly rotational because you are right about one thing he hit bombs to right field. But in order to do that on the outside had a long rotational swing does that with bat speed over 80 mph . If you generate alot of bat speed like the great hitters now a days produce and hit the ball the ball will fly. If you have a hands y swing like gwynn and carew and lets say a rose than it will produce hits but not much power. Now a days hitters are hitting for power and average just like the great ted williams and george brett. Yes there is more than one way of hitting but if you want to have the best of both world like power and average than bat speed .com is the swing where all the great power and average hitters have done.
