i was always under the impression that bottom hand torque was just the force accelerating the bathead when properly initiated by proper rotation and circular handpath? am i wrong or is it really that simple?

I have seen one person (unidentified) try to explain why the term does not need an explanation, and now we have someone call it "the force accelerating the bathead when properly initiated by proper rotation and circular handpath". Now, I am sure that you are sincere in this attempt at explaining what it means but really, at least for the masses your honest attempt at an explanation come up a little short.

However, I agree with J that it's a little silly to be discussing BHT when everyone has their own notion of what it means.Just a little bit of free advice from an innocent bystander.

> Teacherman, you are off the mark.First, J was right, if we are to use terms like BHT we should be able to explain what it means. Second, no one has explained what it means. It is not good enough to just read the stuff at the site. Otherwise, why have any discussion at all? Everytime someone has a question, just tell them to read the stuff at the site? Third, why would you say that if we want someone's advice we will ask for it? This comment doesn't sould like it's in the spirit of honest debate. On the contrary, it sounds like you too don't have a clear understanding of what BHT means, yet you want to muzzle the opinions of someone who wants to help.Having said that,
> let's clear this matter up once and for all.Top hand torque is the first half of the swing , bottom hand torque is the second half of the swing.

Don't want to muzzle anyone. Just tired of people not paying attention. You've been referred to a thread about 4 or 5 threads up that clearly defines BHT. Jack has defined it all over his site. Including his latest within in this line of threads. His tape and CD define it. It sounds more to me that you disagree with it rather than want to know its definition. Therefore, either debate the topic or go away. If you don't understand ask. If you disagree, say so. But you're getting nowhere asking for a definition when its right in front of you and you fail to read it or comprehend.
