Re: Re: barry bonds' hitting style

Alot more hitters than you think stand off the plate man. The fact that they are so rotational lets them hit that ball to the opposite field. Bonds is on the dish because he is trying to hit a homerun to his pull side. When they pitch him away he can still hit it out to right. When they try to come in he also makes them pay. If you go in enough on him you can get him out. But if you miss a tad than he will make you pay. The pressure is on the pitcher to make quality pitches to him or or else see ya. He hits home runs to every part of the field but the majority of power hitters power stats come from there pull side. When he is hitting a ball of the plate for a bomb is hands are not in tight sir. It is a big long hand path. He holds his hands low but still mashes the pitch up. He hits every pitch just like pujlous does. And he is not vulnerable to inner half pitches. Troy percival once threw him a 96 mph fastball up and in and we still haven't seen that ball. Pitchers fear coming in on him because he hits jacks. And it is possible to hit with your hands that low and still hit. Manny hitter have there hands that low. But as he rotes he is at the same point as many great hitters are. And he still fails to get a hit 70 percent of the time he still finished 360 45 plus 1oo plus. You are way off on what you think you know. You cannot keep your hands in tight and hit a ball away from you EVEN IF YOU ARE ON THE DISH! Might make contact but you will never hit a ball hard. Many Guys hit with there arms extended the whole time during the swing which means that there shoulder hips torso are pulling the lead shoulder back towards the catcher. You really need to read more on this site. Back side rotation happens after the swing. It all connected in the naked eye. Front hip goes than the back turns toward the pitcher. Sometimes the back leg doesn't even turn at all. That is because of front hip rotation.
