What about switch hitters? Which hand is stronger?

I will tell you this. If the body was to be split right down the middle from the top of the head down through the belly button and so on, the side that should supply more energy to the swing is the back side.

The side with the top hand should slightly dominate the lead shoulder side. If the lead shoulder side dominates control is lost.

Both sides supply energy as you stated, but the back side should supply a bit more than the front.
