Many hitters very good hitters I might say have big strides have a wide stance which does not matter and most of all there front foot rotates so much that it faces the pitcher especially on an inside pitch. The reason why is because of front hip rotation. Granted there are some hitters where there front foot stays fairly closed but there front hip rotes as if there foot did. You need to look at video not pictures because the pictures can be deceiving depending the angle the photo was taken.
