> you must make & take every opportunity to generate force with your legs... that is the major power source, despite what anyone else may say... look at your leg, then look at your arm. the leg is at least 3 or 4 times stronger than the arm. to deny this fact is to deny the LAWS OF LOGIC & PHYSICS.. which most baseball players think they are immune to & that those laws do not apply to them.. otherwise they wouldn't do the idiotic things they do, like not pushing off their back leg, merely taking a very small or long step forward & dropping their hands, doing a little circle hitch witht heir hands, & then drawing back their arm & hands to the launch position, all AFTER the ball has been released.. which will guarantee you will be late to the ball. those guys who think they have all that time in the world to draw back once the pitch is underway like they were playing 16" slow pitch & can't figure out why they are always late, i call those guys "BUGGYWHIPPERS". watch them from the hips down... no torque whatsoever. they might as well be sitting on a barstool for all the power they are getting from their lower body.. these mooks start out flatfooted on their back foot, then end up with all their weight off their back foot at contact, with just the toe touching the ground..

George,

Come on! You talk about the greatest hitters in the world like they don't know anything. These guys in the MLB are the greatest in the WORLD.

You call them "mooks" because they drive there back foot up onto there toe with there weight off there back foot at contact. No kidding. Tht's because they are producing more energy and momentum with there lower body and hips then you will ever expeirence. If you stay on your toes and keep your weight on your back foot wheres the tourque coming from? I bet you would tell the MLB hitter to "squish the bug" so you don't drive so hard off of that back side.

George, you know what I either mis understand just about everything you write or I disagree with you about everything, I think it's the later. So with that said I'm done commenting on the crazy things you say. Not to say that you're crazy but you can't keep dismising the ability of MLB hitters and sound sane. THEY ARE THE GREATEST. ALL OF THE HITTERS WE TALK ABOUT I HAVE HEARD OF, I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF YOU!!!

Graylon
