is it me or do rotional mechanics make it seem as if you dont have great bat speed but in reallty you do. it seems that im not swinging hard but the ball is really going far.

Rotational mechanics give you more batspeed before contact, which is something most people are not used to. Most people get batspeed by pushing the hands right before contact, this approach leaves the barrel dragging and then it snaps through (way to much effort). Rotational mechanics would have the barrel building batspeed from the launch, not to mention keeping the barrel consistant through the strike zone (another key factor in hitting).

The effort in a rotational swing is considerbly less than a top hand push swing. This is why you feel less effort.
