what are the pros and cons of having an open stance like luis gonzales,and what are there more of(pros/cons)any information would be helpful and appreciated, thanks.

Not sure there are any real pros or cons. It's just up to what feels best for the hitter. And experimentation is the only way to find out what is best. We have this model for hitting (whatever each indviduals model may be) and you have to make it work for you and your body.

One thing it may help Lugo with is seeing the ball. He starts facing the pitcher so he sees the ball clearly with both eyes.
