so what drills would u do for a short compact swing?

The term short and compact does not mean a good swing to me. After contact, I would not want to be short and compact. After contact, I prefer good extention that comes from the approach into the ball.

Again, at 3and2.com and at webball.com there are good lessons to be learned on the compact swing. Also at beabetter.com. I might also point out that at webball.com there are some of Jack Mankins's writings. Apparently they think it's important to present a wide variety of views.
