im a high school baseball player that is goin to play college at a strong division 2 university, but i got a lunge problem , i lunge all the time it seems but some of the time i wont and thats when i crush the ball. Is there any drills or ways to hold back but not lose my p
ONE METHOD THAT THE MAJOR LEAGUERS USE IS TO TAKE A SLIGHT STEP BACK WITH YOUR FRONT FOOT. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO SHIFT YOUR WEIGHT BACK WHILE AT THE SAME TIME LOADING UP WITH THE INCOMING PITCH. THEN YOU CAN EXPLODE INTO THE BALL. THIS IS SIMPLY A TRIGGERING DEVICE. MOST OF YOUR GOOD HITTERS HAVE A TRIGGERING DEVICE THAT ENABLES THEM TO GET BACK BEFORE THEY GO FORWARD. GOOD LUCK!
