Re: Past and Present Swings

Does anyone out there know of a website or video that compiles video clips of past and present swings? It sure would be nice to check out the swings of Cobb, Ruth, Williams, Foxx, Hornsby, etc. versus today's players.

Write to HBO and you can purchase the "When it Was a Game" tapes. There are three of them, starting back in Ruth's time and going up through the 60's with Mantle and Mays. There are enough shots of them hitting where you can slow mo and use frame by frame to look for any differences between them and the players of today. I have enjoyed the three tapes more than any video that I have seen in my life, and I have about 150 hours of tape.

Good luck, Doug
