Then were would you get this information?? How would you learn to instruct the mental side of the game?? Is not important maybe MORE important then the "launch angle", "launch position" etc. Since you can not walk up to a hitter and without a video camera indentify a 1/60th of a sec movement which you can only verify with the slow motion replay of the video camera. Could you identify that process and have it corrected by the athlete by simply saying what is wrong. I do not think so.

I believe you missed my point. If the goal is to produce the BEST hitter should the teacher not take it upon himself to teach the student how to maximize his at bats or his swings by getting the best pitch for him to hit and thus using his swing to the best of his ability.

I am studying the swing and then using the strength of that swing to produce the best results. Teaching the player to become an observer and not meerly a player of the game. I believe that this site is a way of gathering information and using that information to further develop the hitters of tomorrow. Having the greatest swing in the world will not hit the ball. Knowing when to use the swing will give you results.
