Does anyone know about the Hit-A-Way? Is it a good product to practice around with? Thx

I buy and try most new products. It isn't bad..sold many units ..about 12 million dollars actually. You have to have some ability to do it properly. It does help you to get inside the ball. It works best with a qualified hitting instructor helping a kid get started and focused on the key elements of the good swing. It will wear out eventually and some reported bat damage but I did not see that happen. A few law suits files here and there but thats with anything. I did not find it dangerous, but I would not recommend it for under 10. It is worth what you pay for it.
