These posts are opposite of what is being taught on this site and obviously are designed to stir the pot. My only problem with such posts is that someone may actually believe that the poster is giving useful advice.

hello jimmy!!!

you have said it as well as it can be said... HATS OFF!
though i may be on your list of bizarros with a different perspective
& a SOMEWHAT different idea of what it takes to become a success at this game, THE REALITY IS I AM NOT SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN MOST ON THIS SITE.. i think i have SOME good ideas about what will work, as well as being able to identify what hurts your effort.. that is my mindset... if i see that a certain action diminishes batspeed, then i say eliminate it from your stance or swing.. this will make your bat get there sooner on a variety of pitches that you are now fouling off or missing completely.. that is where a smart hitter looks to improve.. by asking himself why he is always late on a certain pitch in a certain spot.. then figuring out what it is that he is doing that sabotages him... then makes a change.
"Those who have an open mind to other views are the ONLY individuals who can truly develop to their full potential"... WOW!!! like i wrote it my self!!! YOU among those on this site get it!!!
others would have you believe this whole game is etched in stone & their way is the ONLY way it is to be done... NOT!
your last statement is very cogent.. if we all had the same theory & were in agreement on EVERYTHING, this site would close, as there would be nothing to discuss. so dissent is good... embrace it! it is the cornerstone of this country.
