Another THT Question

Posted by: Nick (nickkio@aol.com) on Fri Sep 26 08:35:04 2003

Hi Jack,

You have said on several occasions that Shefield is a good example of a player using THT. Is it then fair to say the if I were to put a bat in front of me point straight up in the air, THT torque would move the bat to my left and right causing my entire forearm the rotate? This would be as opposed to the effect of the torque at the end of the swing which in my example could be demonstrated by moving the bat toward me and away from me an could be accomplished by moving my wrists only.

I hope this is clear.

Nick
