What you are saying sounds great in theory, but there is no room for any rtyhm back in that set up.

60% probably isn't bad as long as there is room to shift the weight backward, but what Mr. Lau advocates involves no rythm and will produce a poor lunging action which will put the hitter out over his front foot losing balance control and most importantly power.

The movement back starts the chain of events within the body that brings the body to a position (with rythm and momentum enhancing it) to deliver the barrel with control and force.

The "Load" is the movement back that rythmicly gathers and winds the body up to throw the barrel.
