But, when you couple that statement with his belief that the batter should, “Keep the lower body quiet and be quick with the hands”, it is conceivable he may actually believe the hands do drive the shoulders. His other posts show that he certainly does not believe that shoulder rotation accelerates the hands (as you pointed out above).

I would like to make a comment about this discussion. There is no point in discussing this subject if you cannot agree on if the hands drive the shoulders or the shoulders drive the hands. This is not an opinion, its fact. This is not a question for "coaches" its for a doctor. Why dont you settle this. And its obviousl that the one who is wrong dosen't have a clue about what he is talking about
