What exactly does this term mean?

Something different to everyone and something different to the
same person at different times,just like any "cue".

If I had to reconcile its interpretation with the mechanical
universals as identified by Jack,assume your axis of rotation is
set at launch and you have cocked the hands/bat well and
applied THT at initiation.Assume you also set the "right"
handpath radius at "launch".Then the handpath radius will stay
circular or hook on the approach to contact in most cases.This
might feel like you kept the hands inside the ball.
