DBC,

I did it by discussing with individuals on this forum (either on the website or via e-mail) issues that I was having a hard time understanding. I know an individual who participates in this forum who is a minor league player. He too owns everything imaginable and has been at Epstein’s one week course and recently spent several days working with John Elliot. He is still looking for more! There is no perfect answer as to how to convey this type of information. What works for one person may not work for another. This is the way it is for most things in life and probably the way it will always be. If it were easy, everybody would be able to do it. This site has a lot of value to many of us.

Well said Nick.
I think you understand I never bashed this site and certainly not rotational hitting. I am a complete advocate of both. My eyes have been opened by "some" of the respondents to my original comment.

If I opened some eyes up as to being cautious when giving out advice without also providing some substance (application) to that advice then this forum is doing exactly what it is intended to do.

Again Nick- you and you mentioned a Minor leaguer, both have studied numerous "videos" in your desire to learn as much as you can about the swing. That is all I was suggesting would be a better response to those posters who "in my opinion" were looking for piece meal answers to their sons, or their neighbors nephews best friends dog's swing.

I am sure there are Major league players, hitting coaches and managers who also visit this site. Hopefully they will gain from it as well.

In a perfect world Nick we would all "get it" like Matt and his kids as fast, as effectively and be as brazenly open about "getting it" as they are (pssst...he would be the exception to the "some" referenced above).

Thanks for your thoughts=:)
