I learned a tremendous amount about rotational hitting through reading Tom Guerry's many posts on the Fastpitch Forum. Now understand, Tom's stuff takes some time to digest, but once I began catching on and Visualizing what I was reading, my understanding of rotational hitting really took off. Then add the knowledge this site offers through Jack Mankin and from Mike Epstein's site, a detailed picture begins to form. The purchase of Epstein's tapes helped tremendously and I plan on purchasing Jack's tapes, as well.

If you bought the tapes AFTER reading the info then would it be safe to say you needed more accurate visualization than just the written word? That assumption is also very real!

But I am sure they are filled with excellent visuals and trouble shooting tips so wouldn't it be best, wouldn't this forum REALLY be beneficial, to those in search of elusive answers; if when posters come on asking for "bits and pieces" of help...somebody here refers that poster to purchase such visual tapes instead of dragging them through the grind and guessing game of visualizing it through someone else's words?

Let me get this straight, dbc. You don't own Jack's tapes. You say you get your info from Readers Digest. You don't think this site is for questions and answers. You think you have a "real teacher" in you but you don't think 9 year olds are capable of learning (and I thought all along that this is a game for kids). You think Epstein, on the other hand is great. Hum............who did you say pays you to make these posts?
