Whoa there killer, lets remember thats this is a kids game when it comes down to it. If a poster asking for help knows and understands the terms and concepts that are being used to help him, how isnt he learning something. You can use a very powerful tool called you mind for visualization. It works very well, especially working with hitting!

I doubt any one of them will come back on the forum and say..."you know...I just didn't get what you meant by "x" degree angle, axis, flexion, extension or initiation?" What they will do is move onto another site and again- try to find another simplified band aid solution they can better understand.

Verses say a video with proven systems and with the ability to freeze frame, slow motion, frame by frame, rewind, trouble shoot etc.? A video or CD that can "show" a viewer the above noted scientific terms!

It is not "just" a kids game...most posters on this site would agree that their are countless adults and many, many multi-millionaires playing this great game. However, teaching kids the correct age appropriate mechanics as a child ensures they continue to find a modicum of success in one of the "toughest things to do in sports" (hit a baseball) as they grow older. The perhaps, fewer kids will jump the baseball ship to go play Soccer (stats support that statement).

They just hit hit hit hit hit until they were good at it. I use this site to help me train, I understand all the concepts needed to learn how to swing properly and generate batspeed.

" So what are you saying this is? Teach a random person on the internet something new about physics forum? This is about baseball, not helping a 12 year old with a science project.

I would ask you to stop reading into this Mr. Professional DBC or whatever you are, and would kindly ask you to lay off the criticism of me on this board because you don't know me nor know what kind of ballplayer I am. Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

> Dave I get a lot of help from this site.Im 17 but I know one kid whos 13 and he likes the site.I say yes to rotation mechanics, no to harrassment from outsiders.

I really think this is sad. We have 30+ yr old softball (Sam, the only one defending poor ol' dbc) players with beer bellies that get drunk after every game on here bashing teenagers who play competitive baseball trying to improve themselves. This is becoming a complete joke.

dbc and sam, if im too young to comprehend these mechanics how come ive hit balls well over 320 feet ( im 5'8" 155 ) and generated enough batspeed to hit pitchers throwing over 90 mph (my summer team faced Youth Services from Brooklyn in the finals of a tourny which we won and they threw two pitchers clocked over 90 which i got hits off of). In case you arn't familiar with the history of that team, countless professional ballplayers in the major leagues have played for that organization, including Manny Ramirez. I challenge you to quit the bullshitting on this board and go back to epstein or whoever he is and just leave us alone. YOUR posts are the ones that make no sense and are just criticism, not our "piece meal" mentality or whatever you claim to be talking about. Take your non sense somewhere else and no help to ballplayers on some softball site where they care about you.
