Chris,Imo you might want to save some of that cash on the perfect bat and invest in some lessons for your boy . It may save you both some frustrations and give you a better idea of which way to go.Yes, bats can make a difference once proper technique is established.Find out the coaching method, rotational or linear.The experience the coach should have will guide you in bat selection once he determines the strenghts and weaknesses in his swing.
