Andy,

I haven't thought enough about what could cause the "lazy fly balls to the right". Of course, it'd be a lot easier if you had a clip of such a swing. ;) But I will think about it, and get back to you if anything comes to mind.

In the meantime, I spent some time tonight (way more than I'd intended) drawing this:

I know you've already mentioned that you're aware of your swing plane, but I felt like playing a bit, so...

I've attempted to overlay a transparent "sheet of plywood" on top of your and Gonzo's swings. First I used the plane tool in V1 (which produces an arc) to get a rough idea. Then I drew the board over what I thought looked like the plane. Then I copied the board over the multiple frames. Then I cut the heads out and pasted them over the boards, so it might look like your heads are sticking through the boards.

Do these look accurate? Do they provide any more value than the simple curved line plane (which takes about 5 seconds to create vs. a couple hours)?
