Have many guys here spent time checking the head poitions and movement of the better major league hitters? Checking from stance to load....from load to footplant.......from footplant to contact......from contact to extension. I have a grid in one of the systems I use and have found that of the better hitters that I looked at, Bonds had the least amount of head movement and Shawn Green the most.

Tom, The angle of the body (axis?) approaching contact is what allows some hitters to not have as much forward head movement, starting at load, right through contact.
