swinging with legs II

thanks everybdy for all the info. it is critical for me. over the last months i have picked up great tips from this site and i owe it to you.

as for the swing i am into right now, i think it is sound as i watch mlb players in slow motion. they are not concious of their legs anymore because they have it down. they dontknow what they are doing. i am getting to that point where my swing looks good eventhough I may have flaws. right now i think it is all about the kind of cues that we use. for example, if i think "bottom hand accross my chest" i get a mean hip rotation into the swing. it is complicated but it works some how. by thinking "hands" i get "hips" if you get my drift. different cues work for different hitters, i heard this many times.
i also lean a little bit on my front leg as i stride to a bent front knee. this is the only way, i repeat the only way to get any kind of hip involvementinto the swing. then I try to rotate the front knee and my body leans back automatically. i got that tip from Jack M. i credit some of his advice for my last improvements.
the only cue i use now is hands back and let the body do the work. it doesnt happen fast you have to work at it. it is not "easy". you dont get it at the beginning. i think i am a slow learner and i get it down after 500 swings to the wiffles as i try to get a new movement into my swing. but believe me it feels so good after a while. again i dont know how it will pan out agains live P. it kills the wiffles for now. you get serious "line drives".

thanks everybody and a happy new year. have agreat swing at it.
