Coach C, I have been following the thread as it unravels, and I decided to go back and check your swing to see if I could get a better understanding of some of the things you are talking about.

I feel this would be a much more powerful approach than what you have now. Try punching someone from the position your right hand is in at footplant. I am not trying to be tough on you, I just read what you say about your swing and then when I look at it, things look a little different.

I have no problem with portraying my swing, which is something I've yet to see you do or anyone else for that matter with the mechanics he professes. You are not being tough on me, because you are correct in those swings. In all three of the swings from the left and right side, the hips are cocking incorrectly, however it served me well in college and kept me above all of my peers in high school.

Very nice reply... that's why i enjoy this forum so much. we put our ideas out there and they get criticized. the criticizee comes back with a civil answer, not bent out of shape defending his position. generally it seems that we all check our egos at the door. i think this can be directly attributed to Jack as i've seen him dissed unmercifally and he comes back calm and rational. his attitude affects us all i believe... thanks, Rich
