Doug where can I view it? Is he on Nick's page now?

My assesment at the time was that he inside/out's the ball/V-shapes the swing and casts the bat late in the swing. I still maintain this analysis, but upon knowing this was your boy i wanted to take a further look. He most definitly sways his hips....in other words he cocks his hips incorrectly.

I'd offer my help, but we already know you disagree with me....so scrap that idea. Let's just say I wish him the absolute best of luck and I hope he lives his dreams!!!

He'll play for the Phillies organization next year!

Coach C, The only problem that I see with your diagnosis is that after listening to what you say about your own swing and then watching it, I realize that you don't even know your own swing, much less being able to diagnose another swing from one clip and have it figured out. You never even bothered to answer my thoughts on your hand and bat position in the thread down below this one, about you being in a weak position and your 11" stride, which you say is 4".
As a teacher, you seem afraid to give your name, and yet you talk about all the players you have fixed. You say it does not matter, but then try to impress me by saying you are friends with a man I signed. As far as Jack goes, I have a lot of respect for his thoughts on the swing, as I read most everything that he writes on this site, and if I did not like most of what he says, I would not frequent his site. You were right about one thing though, my son has already passed what you did in college and he did it in his Freshman year. When you can pull the ball, hit it hard in the air and not hook it, then you can compare your swing to my youngsters swing.
I have not hidden, and many people know my name, including Jack, as I have e-mailed him in the past. What I have a hard time with is a hitting coach who is afraid to tell anyone who he is and where he teaches. Jack is not afraid to give his name and Epstein is not afraid to give his name. If someone can teach, it would be in their best interest to let let everyone know their name and give out directions to their hitting school.
