> Wazoo. From what you have said, it sounds like he has trouble with offspeed pitches. And if he knows that a pitcher cannot throw the ball by him I would suggest the following or one of the following:

> 1. use a heavier bat and or longer bat
> 2. move up in the batters box
> 3. close his stance slightly
> 4. use a higher leg load or more dramatic inward turn

>I am going to soon address timing with some ideas I have been thinking about,carrying the load and understanding the weight shift portion of the swing are key to being in control of timing.
