My coach (D-1 in AZ) never heard of top hand torque scap load torque position etc.He also says in the circles he travels in Jack and Nyman are unknowns. Can you tell me where either of these guys findings have ever been published so that I can point it out to him? As of right now he thinks it's funny that I would even think about getting info on hitting from the internet.I know Epstein used to play but I don't know if he has a reputation either. Thank you.

If you are at this site it is probably because your coach's advice hasn't really helped you improve all that much and you are looking for more. Quite frankly he's probably telling you the same things you already knew from your past coaches or worse he's asked you to hit "his way" and your getting worse.

Realize now that he is a D1 coach he has a high opinion of his coaching knowledge. The problem most of theses coaches have is they don't realize they are coaching some very talented athletes and the success of their players may not be only because of them. His lack of being open to anything that may help you tells me he is very insecure about his coaching ability. What would happen if you used info on this site and got better; how would he look then?

Based on personal experience your making a huge mistake if you don't try it.
