Re: SWITCH HITTING

Posted by: Coach C () on Mon Apr 12 18:42:13 2004

im a jr, and i am lookin for ways to learn how to switch hit and have my swing feeling as natural as it would from the other side(the side i usually hit from) are there any ways i can see results quicker

Get 100 baseballs......hit 25 into a field from the natural side, then hit 75 from the other side.....do this every day until your hands bleed ar the bat breaks. Then get another bat and do it again. That's all I did when I made my mind up to do it in high school and it served me well. When they feel similar, then take it to the batting cage as much as you can.....back and forth. It takes a 100% commitment or it will not work.........at least it wouldn't for me.
