Hi Brumill

Welcome to the site. -- There are number of good hitters like Bonds and Sosa (and Alex most of the time) that can start with a vertical bat and sweep it cleanly into the swing plane while applying Pre-launch and THT. However, I have found better results while working with young hitters to prepare their launch position with the bat-head closer to the swing plane. I use George Brett as the model.
