i think you may have misunderstood a recent post of mine...i'm posting a clarification here rather than in the same thread, because that thread was once again starting to degenerate into the same old silliness that seems to happen so often....

You are right. I misread your post.

However, even if linear propulsions offers me more time, I would not exchange it for less power, even it means striking out more often.

But, on astroturf, contact can be beneficial.

So I guess it goes to whether you believe that batting average is better than power, or vice-versa.
