Corey, just wondering how "miniscule" your stride is. My son's hitting coach constantly enforces "small is big," i.e. everything should be small including the stride.

A small stride works well with my son.

Also, are you playing for more than one team? I don't know if that is possible at the h.s. level, my son is younger than you but I make sure he's on more than 1 team. Different coaches have different perspectives. One coach bats him 8th and never lets him pitch (only the 3 coaches sons can pitch), the other coach bats him 3rd & he's the star pitcher on that team. Works for us.
