I think of them somewhat distinctly.

First there is some bend at waist as the hip cocks with the lifting and internal rotation (front knee turns in) of the stride leg.The back arm internally rotates a little.coking the bat vertically. This is followed by a slight inward turn of the entire body lead by back scap loading/pinching/coking the nat toward the pitcher.Next there will be a variable degree of bend at the waist and flex of the back knee as you rotate into toe touch (wind rubber band),depending on location being recognized.Less bend for high, more bend for low.Bat turns back toward catcher as back elbow starts slotting via external rotation. While all this is happening, the weight/center of gravity will shift forward and down on a line to the pitcher.
