Re: Frustrated Slump

Brian,
The game of baseball is set up for you to fail. You are only 3 games into the season and you are all ready thinking you are in a slump? Easy man, you have a long season dont worry about 3 games. You are not in a slump, that is baseball. Some games you might hit some games you might not hit. The great thing about the game of baseball is unlike some sports you can come back and play the next day, you dont have to wait a week to prove youself again. Erase the first three games from you mind and go to the ball park with a fresh, positive attitude everyday

This is a great Site. I would appreciate any advise. I play in a Wood Bat Leauge in Portland OR. Only a few games in the season and my 3rd base defense is fine however when it comes to my bat, its slumping. Only 3 games into the season im 2 for 12. Im one of those people that is very mental on thinking things thru. I had a Mable Bat I was using in my Practice games and went
> 6 for 11 in the practice games. Since then I broke that bat and now im using a composit bat, and I dont have the confidence. Other than that Im just beaten myself up on this. I dont want to blame anything other than me. ANY ADVISE ?
