Hi Tom

I think you have it right. The droop is easy to point out in a video clip but hard to describe with words. If the batter maintains a wide angle between the wrist the lead-wrist is forced (or rotated) up-ward and is no longer inline with the forearm as the top-had rotates to the palm-up position. The lead-hand now angles (or droops) downward to the bat.
