Re: Re: Re: softball vs. baseball I don't think you will see very many 'classic' baseball swings in fastpitch softball. Very few power swings either. Due to the reduced distances of the pitcher's mound combined with the velocity of the pitches, there is very little time to have anything other than a 'short swing'.
