a perfect example, a perfect picture not requiring multiple frames to illustrate that ichiro is linear....go to http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/baseball/mlb/10/01/bc.bba.suzuki.hitsrecor.ap/index.html?cnn=yes....

What was Bonds, beltran and pujols averages this year.Another thought ,what would Ichiros avg. be and how many hits would he have if he did not run a 3.35 avg to 1st base.I got to think he had 30 hits this year easy because of his speed or how they played him with his speed.

Ever read about golf...backswing, shift, rotate. Most baseball players do not shift as far as to be on top of the front foot. Ichero does. That does not mean he does not turn his hips through ie rotate.
Some linear hitters never go belly button through to pitcher IMO Ichero does on many swings. How do you classify his swing?? Good but not one you would try to teach a kid maybe
