Debo. Have him start choking up on the bat. Choking up gives the batter more bat control. It makes the bat feel lighter and allows him to take his hands to the ball easier. In addition, it might help him to use a bat out of the C331 mold. Go to any online site that sells custom made bats and you will see models that fit that description.
