Batspeed at age 9/Jack pls help

Jack,

I am just trying to get some information about bat speed for my 9 year old son.
He is avg 53mph (10 swings/avg) swinging 29" 21oz bat.
Is that about normal for his age or are we doing something wrong. I have the heavy bag set up 3" in front of the plate.
