jack, with all due respect, you are copping out....i didn't just make a legimate point, i pointed out a concerned that in all these years has NEVER been addressed, has always been ignored.....i said "i really think that during the knob to the pitcher phase there is not yet any acceleration taking place, because, after all, tht is a maneuver that takes place BEFORE the swing starts........grc.....

the question still remains: during the phase of the swing where the knob is headed towards the catcher, is it not true that the hitter has not quite started his swing yet? therefore how can there be any "acceleration"? movement, overcoming inertia, positioning/preparation for chp, yes, but ACCELERATION?

to simply say that you have already stated your position may be true for other issues dealing with tht, but this specific issue has NOT been addressed, ever.....perhaps tom.guery could answer my question if you (jack) won't....
