> Thank you. On another note. What I think is interesting, is that in Ted's Science of hitting, he doesn't describe the mechanics of the hips for instance, nearly as much as others, Epstein for instance. And, as youy know, Epstein loves refering to Teds mentoring of him.
> My honest thought here, is that Ted laid it out as simply as he felt required, no more, no less. I think what Epstein does, and Epstein is good but, he tends to glamorize something that just doesn't warrant it? Squish the bug, sit on the rear leg, align the knuckles like this or, like this, tilt the body back, let the ball get deep. Letting the ball get deep, was not how Williams' approach to an outside pitch. He moved his stance around.Where did everyone come up with that stuff? It go's on and on and on Jack. Ted never said any of those things.
> It was either in his book or, the video clip of him, that I found in here, he says; "if you swing with a slight up-swing, the hips have to open" Thats it!!

John,

One thing, Epstein doesn't teach squish the bug. You seem to know a lot about how Ted hit, how well did you know him. I think that Epstein was endorsed by Ted, when do you come out with your approach to hitting that is endorsed by someone great.
