Are you serious?!!!!!!
Esp. with two strikes, you see a batter going the opposite way. His hands LEAD the bat through and are ahead of the bat at contact, constituting a shorter stroke. <<<

Your post raises a question I have often pondered regarding the linear hitting principle, “get your arms extended.” -- As the hands are extending farther and farther out toward contact, is the swing (or stroke) getting shorter and more compact? I would think a “short compact” swing would mean the length of the hand-path would be shorter rather than longer.
