I think the guys that were and, are able to execute the rotational swing to almost perfection, is what gives them the label of having pop. I mean, there's many rotational hitters in MLB, that don't have the same success as other rotational hitters. Why? Only GOD has that answer and, we're all gonna have to wait to have that questioned answered. Hopefully, later, than sooner :)
It's really unfortunate that bonds' name will be forever linked to steroids because, he has such a beutiful swing. He, like others, have a GOD given ability that allow the mechanics of rotational hitting to a high level.I mean if you take two kids at the same age, and school the heck out of them in ANYTHING, not just rotational hitting, one of them is going to have better results than the other.
My thinking is that BOTH hands play a large role in the swing.
One pulls, the other I feel pushes. It's a perfect marriage..something I know very little about :)
