My daughter hit hard but too down on the ball....alot of choppers and grounder to 3B and SS.

I would first check her lead elbo. if that drops then that would cause the chop at the ball. I know my 9y old had the same problem last fall. And you can work that on a heavy back then follow it up with tee drills.
